On September 15, 2016, the completion of the solid wood structure, and facade, was celebrated at the UBC dormitory Brock Commons. The world’s tallest wooden building with, 18 storeys, was completed ahead of schedule.
The structure was completed in less than 70 days after the prefabricated components were delivered. The project is now focused on interior design; completion is expected in early May 2017 – faster than a project of this type.
