The position and the shape of the house are strongly influenced by the specific conditions of the site. The location of the ski slope defines the boundary in the north, the topography leaves little leeway in east-west direction. The aim of the design is to situate the building so skilfully that no major terrain changes are required except in the area of the necessary terrace.<\/p>\n
In order to deliver this the house is not centred on the ridge but moved to the east, which allows a solid ground terrace. In addition, this creates the opportunity to develop on the east side exposed areas. The ensuing asymmetry has become the subject of the shapes-development of the building volume, with the aim of creating a form that responds precisely to the location, and that addresses the peculiarity of the situation.<\/p>\n

Die Stellung sowie die Form des Hauses sind stark gepr\u00e4gt von den spezifischen Bedingungen des Ortes. So definiert die Lage der Schipiste die Position im Norden, die Topographie l\u00e4sst wenig Spielraum in Ost- Westrichtung. Ziel des Entwurfes ist es, das Geb\u00e4ude so geschickt zu situieren, dass keine gro\u00dfen Gel\u00e4ndever\u00e4nderungen au\u00dfer im Bereich der notwendigen Terrasse vorzunehmen sind. So steht das Haus nicht mittig auf dem Grat sondern ist nach Osten ger\u00fcckt, was eine auf festem Untergrund gebaute Terrasse erm\u00f6glicht. Zudem entsteht dadurch die M\u00f6glichkeit, sich auf der Ostseite sich nach unten zu entwickeln und dadurch belichtbare R\u00e4ume zu bekommen. Die dadurch entstehende Asymmetrie ist somit Thema der Gestaltentwicklung des Geb\u00e4udevolumens geworden mit dem Ziel, eine pr\u00e4zis auf den Ort reagierende Form zu schaffen, die die Besonderheit der Lage thematisiert.
