Lifting the housing complex out of the ordinary\u00a0residential building design.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The villages in the Rhine Valley are traditionally linear and made of old timber farmhouses. The Wolfurt Hofsteigstra\u00dfe, where this residential complex is located, is still characterised as such. The old road and several old farmhouses on this street are still preserved. The materialisation required by these surroundings has lifted the housing complex out of the ordinary. The system is proof that there are creative possibilities despite the low construction costs.<\/p>\n

The foundation was created according to the size of the original footprint, the surrounding buildings, and the terrain resulting in a compact configuration that solidifies the building in an exacting and correct situation. Covered parking spaces enriches the urban planning, the residential complex also fulfils a higher-level function. Part of the property has remained undeveloped. The new building is a “tribute to the ancestors”, the old carpentry work is not missed, and the new building fills this gap left behind, almost unnoticed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Die D\u00f6rfer im unteren Rheintal sind traditionell Reihend\u00f6rfer mit alten Bauernh\u00e4usern in Holz. Die Wolfurter Hofsteigstra\u00dfe, an der diese Wohnanlage steht, ist nach wie vor gepr\u00e4gt davon. Der alte Stra\u00dfenverlauf und mehrere alte Bauernh\u00e4user an dieser Stra\u00dfe sind erhalten. Die durch diese Randbedingungen (Lage an der alten Stra\u00dfe) notwendige Materialisierung hat die Wohnanlage herausgehoben aus dem Alltagsbrei der heute g\u00e4ngigen Wohnbaugestaltungen. Die Anlage ist Beweis, dass es trotz niedriger Baukosten gestalterische M\u00f6glichkeiten gibt.
\nBei der Anlage wurde der Situation entsprechend aus der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Volumen, ihrer Lage zueinander und der Ber\u00fchrung mit dem Gel\u00e4nde eine kompakte Figuration geschaffen, die die Beil\u00e4ufigkeit der Bebauung zumindest an diesem Ort verfestigt.
