The Gipfelrestaurant on the summit of Nebelhorn and four other outstanding buildings have been awarded the Baupreis Allgäu at a ceremony on 23 February in Kempten held by the Allgäu Architecture Forum.
In total 89 architects with Allgäuer projects, which were completed between 2013 and 2017, applied for the construction prize. The seven-member jury selected five awards, five recognition prizes and 27 buildings they deemed worthy of showcasing, which are now being presented to the public in an exhibition.
