Wood Conference exhibition, Denmark

The exhibition is part of the Wood Conference in Aarhus, Denmark, curated by Kristoffer Tejlgaard. The conference is organised by the Municipality of Aarhus, NCC and InnoBYG. The theme of the conference is timber construction. The aim is to discuss the possibilities and limits of timber as building material in Denmark. One of the biggest challenges in Denmark is getting to the point of being able to build tall timber buildings.

In connection with the conference there will be a small exhibition of projects that demonstrate the most interesting timber constructions. The Spinnereistraße was included due to its 5-storey timber facade, the timber wall elements and because it is a great example of favourable social housing. After the end of the exhibition period in the Dome of Visions, the exhibition will take place at various locations and universities, including the Danish Architecture Center (BLOX) in Denmark.
