The charging park is a counter-design to the insincerity of globalised petrol station concepts in order to meet the need for “fuel” at a local level in a holistic new way. Architecture and open space design go hand in hand to create the framework for a changed consumption model that is both economically and ecologically sustainable. A beautifully designed building manifests itself at the interface between naturalness & high-tech with the aim of conserving resources and sufficiency. The result is an honest architecture that is rooted in the location through the choice of building materials and the interweaving with the topography. Customers and visitors can easily find their way around and experience the four elements (sun, wind, water, earth) when charging their car. This creates a place of experience and well-being in the KAESER Charging Park.
