The existing counter hall was demolished down to the basement and a modern new building was erected on the same site. This meets the requirements of a modern bank, in particular the need for flexibility. The counter area is a simple rectangle with few supports. A raised floor and flexible furnishings allow it to be adapted to rapidly changing needs. The roof structure is constructed with wide-span multibox elements, and a skylight provides glare-free lighting for the deep floor plan. Glass and wood dominate the exterior.
